«Techno House – Part 3» is an interactive sound installation, in which a performance takes place. The performer activates and deactivates about twenty interconnected Bluetooth speakers. An organized sound composition is created, despite the random dimension generated by the use of this invisible and uncontrollable technology of Bluetooth.

These objects of different brands and generations each produce their own type of sound when they are switched on, when the search for the bluetooth signal is activated and when the device is switched off (sounds that can be assimilated to a musical micro-composition and which belongs to the sound design field). In this piece, we hear them exchanging these compositions, without apparent wires. Are they communicating?

Today, few of us really understand the technological functioning of these objects and their language, which is universal. Despite this, we all use them with ease. Turn on, connect, turn off. ON/OFF: a protocol that we reproduce every day with any kind of object, even in a world that tends towards automation.

This performance hijacks these mysterious black boxes to turn them into musical instruments. It appropriates these sound logos that accompany us everyday to create an oppressive atmosphere in the form of a spatialized domestic concert.
